Confidelio for Mac · Early access

Your legal matter, on your own computer.

Confidelio's legal agent works with the documents on your Mac. It reads your letters, notices and contracts, researches the law with every citation checked, drafts what you need and fills official court forms. Your cases stay encrypted on your computer.

Version 0.1 · Apple silicon (M1 or later) · macOS 11 or later · 99 MB

What it does

Reads your files

Drop in PDFs, Word documents, emails, photos and scans. It pulls out the facts, dates and deadlines that matter, with the page they came from.

Researches the law

Statutes and court opinions it has actually read, cited exactly, with every case citation checked before you see it.

Drafts documents

Demand letters, declarations, timelines and memos, saved to your case folder as Word and PDF files you can edit.

Fills court forms

Official California court forms, filled from your case facts and saved for you to review, sign and file. More states are coming.

Private by design

Encrypted on your Mac

Your cases and conversations are stored on your computer, encrypted with a key kept in your Mac's Keychain. Your documents stay in a folder you choose.

No data retention

The AI runs on Confidelio's private infrastructure with data retention turned off. Your content is never used to train AI models.

The desktop app is in early access and works in self-help mode: you are representing yourself, and these conversations are not covered by attorney-client privilege. For a privileged matter, use Confidelio on the web.

Install

  1. Download the app and double-click Confidelio-mac-0.1.0.zip in your Downloads folder.
  2. Allow the early-access build to open. This first version is not yet notarized by Apple, so macOS will block it the first time. Open Terminal (in Applications, Utilities) and paste:
    xattr -cr ~/Downloads/Confidelio.app && codesign --force --deep -s - ~/Downloads/Confidelio.app
This removes the download warning flag and signs the app for your computer only.
  3. Drag Confidelio into Applications, open it, and sign in with your Confidelio account.
